Overview

Atos is one of the world’s leading IT services companies. As part of their international delivery organisation, I worked on two separate projects for major German enterprise clients — a factory management application for Osram, and a carsharing application for Volkswagen.

My Role

I worked as a frontend developer contributing to both projects in sequence. On the Osram project, I was part of the team building a cross-platform application using Ionic and Angular. On the Volkswagen project, I contributed to the development of a native iOS carsharing application built with Swift.

What I Built

Osram — Factory Management App

• A cross-platform web and mobile application built with Ionic and Angular, targeting both desktop browsers and mobile devices from a single codebase.
• Screens and features for managing factory processes and production planning.
• UI components and navigation flows designed for use in an industrial environment.

Volkswagen — Carsharing App

• A native iOS carsharing application developed in Swift.
• Features supporting vehicle booking, access, and user account management within the carsharing service.

Challenges & Solutions

Working across two very different technology stacks — Angular/Ionic for Osram and Swift for Volkswagen — within the same period required fast context switching and a willingness to work outside a single comfort zone. Each project also came with the complexity of large enterprise clients with strict requirements and structured delivery processes.

I adapted by focusing on understanding the specific platform conventions for each project and leaning on Agile processes to stay aligned with the team’s priorities.

Results

Both applications were delivered as part of larger enterprise programmes at their respective organisations. The Osram cross-platform app consolidated factory planning tooling into a single accessible interface, while the Volkswagen carsharing app contributed to the company’s broader mobility services offering.
